Leveraging their experience in technology and design, the founders of Volunteer Miami created an app and organization web panel. These two products works simultaneously to power the volunteering model. Organizations have a one stop shop to set up events, communication, and recruit volunteers, which spurs the creation of more events and smaller opportunities. This also facilitates smaller volunteering clubs establish a presence in the community as they now have a platform to attract new members. Volunteers have a well designed, efficient app to find opportunities, register, and build a volunteering profile. There is the added bonus of competing against friends to rack up as much service hours as possible in the leaderboards.
